Introduction of Hanil High School

First of all, I'd like to thank you for giving us this opportunity to introduce our school to you.  There are many good things about our Han-Il High School, but here I will narrow them down to just three things.

Han-Il High School is in Kong-Ju city, Chung-Nam Province South Korea.  Kong-Ju is a kind of city where you can see the traditional and modern side of Korea.  It was a capital city of Paek-Jae Dynasty, which prospered in Korean peninsula around 1500 years ago.  Here, you will see lots of museums housing Paek-Jae Kingdoms relics, historical sites, and the royal tombs of the period.   Not only these cultural relics, Kong-Ju City also has lots of modern buildings, secondary schools and universities including a renowned national university called Kong-Ju National University, and  government offices.  It has a small population of about 100,000, so not so crowded but pretty good transportation because it's located in the central region in S. Korea.

Han-Il High School is one of top 10 best private high schools in S. Korea. And it's the first all boy's high school that started a boarding school system. We take in only top 3% of junior high school graduates each year and have very competitive programs.   We place high value on academic achievements, disciplines, and self-reliances.  Therefore, here in Han-Il High School, you will have a chance to meet very polite, well disciplined, and very smart high school students of 21st century Korea.   One example of this is that last year our school produced 180 graduates and one-third of them proceeded to Korea's prestigious universities such as Seoul National University, Yon-Sei University, and Korea University.

Han-Il High School is surrounded by beautiful mountains with a small creek named Cheong-An Chun in front.  Our red brick school buildings are majestic and artistic and in fact was selected as the most beautiful architecture in 1989.  Here in Hanil High School, you will enjoy clean air, unpolluted spring water, untamed natural beauties of Korea which are very hard to come by if you choose to work and live in a big city in Korea.
